FAB! imagines what might have happened if The Beatles had stayed together and kept touring. Playing songs from across their whole catalog from the #1 hits to fun and rarely seen deep cuts, and even some occasional Beatle solo tunes that we imagine would have become Beatles songs, FAB! does it all with the deepest love for the music, the details, the harmonies and the magic and energy that tie it all together!
At the end of 2024, The Eggmen decided to retire after a legendary run of over 3 decades. 4 members of the final lineup (John Kovach, Matt Patterson, David Houston, and Heath Allyn) knew that they wanted to keep playing Beatles music in some form, but also wanted to chart a new path with its own unique flavor. And so at the beginning of 2025 with the addition of their friend and frequent collaborator, Chris Nine, FAB! was born! David moved into the John Lennon position, Heath moved into the Paul McCartney position, while John and Matt remained in their duties as George Harrison and Ringo Starr, respectively. Chris became the secret sauce covering keys, percussion and many various parts played by all The Beatles as well as George Martin, Billy Preston, Nicky Hopkins, and more!
When John Kovach announced that he would be following his partner to Ireland where she would be attending University, there was only one name that immediately jumped to everyone’s mind to take on George’s position and that was Jason Garcia, another friend and frequent collaborator. Thankfully, Jason said yes as he was as big a fan of The Beatles as anyone else in the band!
Even after all these years, the music of The Beatles continues to draw audiences of all ages as FAB! has seen at our shows. We think it is best summed up by The Beatles themselves…
“And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make”
-The Beatles “The End”
